So you have had no problem even though you repainted the candlestick covers? My dad (electrician) said I should not because paint is flamable, but I was considering doing it anyways. Any thoughts?

I have to say, when I saw the chandy in white I was totally impressed and if it were me, I probably would have stopped there BUT I love, love, LOVE the yellow. Great call. I found you through Holly’s Fresh Coat Friday and I’m super glad I did!

i repainted a chandelier too and it really does make ALL the difference!! it’s amazing how an old, broken-down, cheapy-cheap light fixture can change so dramatically with a can of spray paint! your’s turned out perfectly…

What a great tutorial! We’ve painted all of our light fixtures in our home and I think I’ve paid a total of $15 for all of them! I just found a new beauty to replace another and your yellow chandy is great inspiration to go a little bit more daring with my painting. ;)

Looks great! I’m considering painting mine instead of getting something new. I LOVE Habitat For Humanity! I did a wall of shutters in my dining room using reclaimed shutters from Habitat.

I just found a chandelier at the thrift store for $3! I almost got the one for $2 but decided that redoing the wiring wouldn’t be worth it. I just have to find the time to repaint it now and find some light-bulbs! I am so excited!!! :)

What a gorgeous chandelier makeover. I want to do something similar for my patio but I passed up a chandelier today at GW because I thought $15 was too expensive. I am rethinking that decision now.
