We Rockers have been busy busy for the last few days preparing for our first trip with a little one!

I am a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding this Friday, which necessitated a 1600 mile treck across the country. We were originally going to brave the 16 hour car ride and make it a family trip, but at the last minute our plans changed… so Madelyn and I booked her first flight and jumped on a plane headed to DC.

ok ok OK…..I can’t blame it on the iphone. But I have already confessed my less-than-fabulous photgraphy skills, so you can’t say I didn’t warn ya. 

Anywayyyy…. my extremely happy and fabulously behaved baby was true to character all day and we did not have one incident on either of our flights. I cannot say the same, however, for the incredibly kind gentleman of Chicago, who insisted on raising a big fuss durring boarding and refused to sit next to us on our flight.

Thankfully, my little Maddy girl proved all of the wayward looks we recieved from the people sitting around us wrong, and we graciously accepted compliments about her fabulous behavior and stunning good looks as people exited the aircraft.

We’ll be pretty busy for the next week or so… enjoying Madelyn’s grandparents and trying to serve our very loved bride-to-be….. but we’ll be back with our regularly scheduled posts sometime next week!
